Alright, we had to be there before the asscrack of dawn today and we were. For the detail that is, taking down tents. Well... We got there and stood around for awhile and noticed there were only a few of us around so we wanted to leave. There was a bunch of other people there but none from our group. They got all of us together and told us start taking down tents, so we went to the furthest tent and ducked inside and got our stories straight. Then in twos and threes we slipped off into the woods back to our cars. It was fucking sweet. It was some black ops shit.

We got back to the barracks and slipped in and out while everyone else was doing PT. We changed into civilian clothes and went to IHOP for breakfast. Then to Wal-Mart. Ryle bought me IHOP to pay me back for the Super King Buffet I had bought him before and he got 2 plastic lightsabers at Wal-Mart, a blue one for me to finish the pay back and a purple one for himself. I'm still getting the $120 one, but I have to wait until they come into stock.

After Wal-Mart we went to Fayetteville Technical Community College to look at the honies. Ryle and I walked in with our lightsabers clipped onto our pants. We walked into the little cafe they have and upon sitting down but our sabers on the table like they were handguns or something. We got a lot of funny looks and this one big mean looking black dude came over and talked to us about Star Wars. It was hilarious. He works at Best Buy and was asking us if we knew about the awesome lightsabers.

After we left there we went to the mall for a little bit. I didn't really see anything that interesting. Other than a kids Army costume in KB Toys. It had a little fake helmet right? It had Staff Sgt. rank on it but it was upside down. It was like that on all of them. It was pretty funny to us.

After that we came back on post and just chilled out, then Ryle and I went to see Sin City. That was an awesome movie.

Oh yeah, also at some point during the day the Sgt. in charge of us found out we never showed up, but he didn't give a fuck. Sweetness.

So let's see, 2 weeks of shamming. I have Brigade Staff Duty on Sunday for 24 hours. Then I get Monday off. I'm off Tuesday. Wednesday I guess I'll have to work. Thursday we're having a company picnic or some bullshit, and Friday we're off. Sweetness. I can't believe the recent good fortune.

Running tally of this month's expenditures so far:

Gas - $29.48
3 of those car trader type magazines with cars for sale - $7.43
Movie ticket for Sin City - $6.49

So that's $43.40 so far.

saw those pics of your barracks... damn. I can tell you have some seriously nice quarters. My ex's barracks SUCK!! They're always told they'll be getting moved to a brand new building but I think they've been told that for like 6 months. And I'm sure you know how reliable the army's word it..!
